Environment

At Three Range Pastoral, our approach to land management is rooted in regeneration, sustainability, and productivity. Our practices are designed to protect and enhance soil health, water, and biodiversity.

Regenerative Grazing

We use rotational grazing to maximise plant health.  By giving pastures time to rest and regenerate in the growing season enables the plants to be maintained in phase 2 of their growing cycle.  This also improves improvise forage availability and soil health by evenly spreading grazing pressure, manure and hoof action.  Moving cattle systematically supports higher quality feed and also maintains 100% ground cover.

Soil & Water Management

Techniques such as deep ripping are employed to slow water flow, reduce topsoil loss, and encourage natural infiltration. These practices help maintain fertile, sustainable soils and reduce erosion across our properties - Wetlands, Glenba, and our newest property, Amby Hills.

Low Input, High Impact

All our cattle are grass-fed and organically certified, performing naturally without artificial inputs. Our land management philosophy focuses on working with nature, allowing both pastures and herd to thrive in harmony.

Biodiversity & Long-Term Stewardship

We aim to regenerate landscapes for future generations. By supporting native vegetation, soil microorganisms, and water systems, we maintain a healthy ecosystem that benefits both cattle and the wider environment.  All cattle are grass-fed and free from artificial inputs, cattle bred to be naturally resilient to internal and external parasites and adapted to their environment.
